Learning Support Assistant, Deaf Resource Base

Salary Range (for BSL stage 2) £23,114-£23,893  (FTE)

25 hours per week, term time only.  Fixed Term until 31 August 2023.

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant experienced in working with deaf children.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a dedicated unit that caters for children with severe to profound hearing loss from the age of three to eleven.   

This post is for 25 hours per week commencing ASAP.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with young people.  They will be deaf aware, proficient in sign and have British Sign Language qualification Level 1 as a minimum requirement, or be prepared to undertake the course eventually achieving Level 2.
