Learning Support Assistant Autumn 2023

Salary £23,114 (FTE)

Up to 28.75 hours per week during school hours.  Term time only.

Fixed Term contract for 12 months.

Westgate CP School is a large primary school in Bury St Edmunds. The school has approximately 300 children and includes a resource base for Deaf Children.   We aim to create a caring and safe community in which everyone is valued and respected.

Our staff are supportive and caring staff and work collaboratively together in year groups, key stages and across the whole school. 

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to support children with their academic, social, emotional, and possibly their intimate care needs.

The successful candidate will be working within a passionate, hardworking team, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning environment to all of its pupils.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs.
