At Westgate Community Primary, we believe that a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and the school community is essential to creating the best learning environment for our children. Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) plays a crucial role in fostering this connection and ensuring that every student has access to enriching educational experiences.

Our Mission The Westgate PTA is dedicated to supporting our students, teachers, and school community through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and special events. We strive to enhance the educational experience, strengthen school spirit, and provide resources that help our children to thrive.

Why We Fundraise The funds raised by the PTA directly benefit our students and teachers by:

• Enhancing classroom resources and technology
• Supporting extracurricular activities and school trips
• Organising school-wide events that bring our community together
• Providing grants and support
• Improving school facilities and programmes

Events & Activities Throughout the year, the PTA organises a variety of events and initiatives to engage families and raise funds, including:

• Christmas Fair – A festive event with stalls, games, and seasonal treats.
• Summer Fête – A fun-filled day with entertainment, food, and activities for all ages.
• Bingo Nights – An exciting evening for families to enjoy and win prizes.
• Chocolate Tombola – A favourite at our events, offering sweet treats to be won.
• Someone Special Day Afternoon Tea – A special event to celebrate Mothers, Fathers and Carers.
• School Discos – A chance for students to enjoy music, dancing, and fun with friends.
• World Book Day – Encouraging a love of reading while supporting our school library

Get Involved! The success of the PTA depends on the participation and support of our wonderful parents and community members. Whether you have time to volunteer, ideas to share, donate a raffle prize, or simply want to stay informed, we welcome you to join us!
