This week, the JRSO's delivered an assembly to both the Key Stage 1 & 2 children about bike safety. They especially emphasised the importance of wearing a helmet to protect our brain. They also discussed being seen whilst cycling and getting off your bike when crossing the road.
JRSO's will be coming to classes this week to give out stickers to children who have their cycle helmet with them.
Our Junior Road Safety Officers completed and submitted application forms, and then were chosen for this role. After their first meeting, they made a plan to come up with their "top tips" for road safety and will now plan and deliver school assemblies for the children later in the term.
